Yellow Belt is where your foundation becomes skill.This level is designed to take you beyond basic linework into controlled, intentional, repeatable technique — the kind that turns “beginner tattoos” into clean, stable designs that last.


WHO YELLOW BELT IS FOR

This level is perfect if you:

  • Have basic understanding of tools & hygiene

  • Have practiced linework but need consistency

  • Want cleaner, steadier results

  • Need guidance on shading, needle depth, and machine control

  • Feel “almost ready” but not confident enough for real skin

  • Completed White Belt or have equivalent beginner knowledge

If White Belt is foundation…Yellow Belt is your first true step toward mastery.



WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

The Yellow Belt curriculum builds control, technique, and muscle memory.

🞂 Linework Mastery II (Intermediate Level)

  • Consistency across curves

🞂 Machine Speed + Hand Speed Training

  • Matching speed to style

  • Training drills for steadiness

Practice sheets, strokes, curves, and hybrid shading drills — all designed to build repeatable technique.

How to build a clean, simple tattoo from concept → linework → shading.

TIME COMMITMENT

Most students complete Yellow Belt in:4–6 weeks(working 1–2 hours per practice session)

  • Practice skin

  • 3RL, 5RL, 7RL, 9RL needle cartridges

  • Shading needles (7M, 9M recommended)

  • Liner + shader machine

  • Black ink

  • Pencil + drill sheets (provided)

White Belt covers setup & sanitation — Yellow starts the real technique.
