Your tattoo or piercing is an investment in your body and your style. Proper aftercare ensures vibrant color, clean healing, and long-term longevity.

Follow these instructions carefully for best results.

Piercing 

Aftercare

Cleaning Routine

Clean your piercing 2–3 times daily with sterile saline solution.

• Wash hands before touching
• Spray or soak the area with saline
• Gently remove crusties with a clean cotton pad
• Pat dry with clean paper towel

Do not twist or rotate jewelry.

Healing Times (Approximate)

Earlobes: 6–8 weeks
Cartilage: 3–6 months
Nostril: 2–4 months
Septum: 6–8 weeks
Lip: 6–8 weeks
Navel: 6–12 months

Healing varies by person and placement.

What to Avoid

✘ Touching with dirty hands
✘ Sleeping on fresh piercings
✘ Swimming in pools, lakes, or ocean during healing
✘ Makeup, skincare, or hair products near the piercing
✘ Changing jewelry too early

Signs of Normal Healing

✔ Mild redness
✔ Slight swelling
✔ Clear or pale yellow discharge
✔ Tenderness

Signs of Infection (Contact Us or a Medical Professional)

⚠ Severe swelling
⚠ Hot to the touch
⚠ Green or dark yellow discharge
⚠ Throbbing pain
⚠ Fever

Pro Healing Tips

• Stay hydrated
• Eat nutrient-rich foods
• Avoid smoking and excessive alcohol
• Get plenty of rest

Tattoo

Aftercare

First 24 Hours

• Leave the bandage or wrap on for 2–4 hours
• Wash your hands before touching your tattoo
• Gently wash with lukewarm water and fragrance-free soap
• Pat dry with a clean paper towel
• Apply a thin layer of tattoo aftercare ointment

Do not rewrap unless instructed by your artist.

Days 1–7: Healing Phase

Wash your tattoo 2–3 times daily

Apply a thin layer of aftercare lotion or ointment
Keep the area clean and moisturized
Wear loose, breathable clothing

Your tattoo may scab and peel — do not pick or scratch

What to Avoid

✘ No swimming (pools, ocean, hot tubs) for 2–3 weeks
✘ No direct sun exposure
✘ No tight clothing rubbing the area
✘ No petroleum jelly, alcohol, or harsh products
✘ No soaking baths or saunas

Long-Term Care

• Always use sunscreen once healed
• Keep skin moisturized
• Avoid excessive sun exposure

Healthy skin = better tattoos.
